1. What is the Love Button?

The Love Button is a single, powerful smartlink that lets fans instantly follow an artist, save selected albums, favorite tracks, and playlists on Spotify – all with just one tap. It combines multiple Spotify links into one seamless experience for artists, labels, and curators.

2. How does it work?

Once logged in, you can create your Love Button via our platform. You visually select the artist profile, tracks, albums, and up to 5 playlists from Spotify. Once generated, you can share your Love Button link or QR code anywhere. When a user clicks it, it triggers a quick, secure authentication with Spotify. Once authorized, it automatically follows the chosen artist(s) and saves all the specified content directly to the user’s library in one go.

3. Do I need a Spotify account to create my Love Button?

No. You don’t need a Spotify account to create your Love Button, but since it’s dedicated to growing a presence on Spotify, it’s highly recommended that you or the artists you represent are available on the platform.

4. Do I need a Love Button account to use a Love Button?

No. As a fan or listener, you do not need a Love Button account to click a link and save the music to your Spotify library.

5. Do I need a Spotify account to use a Love Button?

Yes. Anyone who clicks on your Love Button must have a Spotify account (Free or Premium). Spotify will securely prompt them to log in if they aren’t already, ensuring the saved content lands directly in their personal library.

6. Can I create or manage a Love Button for free?

Yes, you can create a permanent Love Button for free. However, Free plan users cannot edit their button once it is live. If you want to start over on a Free plan, you can delete your button, but a 30-day cooldown period applies before you can create a new free one. To unlock instant edits or custom designs, you will need to choose a monthly subscription or a one-time pass.*

7. Can I customize my Love Button?

Yes! While the Free plan gives you a clean, standard layout, upgrading to a Premium or Curator plan unlocks full visual control. Paid members can choose alternative cover art from their releases, apply custom gradient backgrounds, add an editorial intro text, hide native Spotify links, and display their social media links.

8. Do I need a monthly subscription to customize or edit my button?

Not necessarily! If you don’t want a monthly commitment but need to make a quick correction or want to fully customize your Love Button with Premium features (custom colors, intro text, alternative cover), we offer a one-time 24-Hour Pass. It gives you full Premium access for a single day. 

The best part? Any premium design changes you apply during this 24-hour window will permanently stay on your Love Button, even after the pass expires!

9. Can I have more than one artist link in my Love Button?

It depends on your plan. On the Free and Premium plans, a Love Button is dedicated to one primary artist. However, if you subscribe to the Curator plan, you can mix and match tracks, albums, and playlists from completely different artists. Curators can also choose to hide individual artist profiles entirely to keep the visual focus on their label or playlist brand.

10. Is there a limit to how much music I can include?

You can add an unlimited number of tracks, singles, and albums to your Love Button! However, to ensure fast load times and a smooth, secure conversion experience for your fans, we limit the number of playlists to a maximum of 5 per button

11. Will my fans see any custom branding when they click the Love Button?

On the Love Button landing page itself, Premium and Curator members can fully display their custom branding (colors, images, custom text). However, when the user clicks the “Follow” button, the temporary Spotify authorization window they see is standard and managed by Spotify to ensure strict security.

12. Is it possible to track how many fans clicked my Love Button?

Yes! While we keep our dashboard clean and don’t host internal analytics, we allow you to fully integrate your own tracking tools. You can easily connect your Love Button with Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or Plausible to measure traffic, track fan conversions, and retarget your audience.

13. Is the Love Button safe and secure?

Absolutely. The Love Button simply requests the necessary Spotify scopes to follow or save content in a user’s library. All logins are handled directly through the official Spotify API and OAuth process, ensuring industry-standard security. We never see or store Spotify passwords.

14. Can I embed my Love Button on my website or social media?

Yes. Every Love Button comes with a permanent URL, a custom QR code, and an HTML embed option. You can share it anywhere – in a bio link, on your homepage, on physical merch and gig posters, or in social media posts.
